This major new version enhances visibility, control, and efficiency for campus and data center IT infrastructure managers by introducing powerful new features, including an industry-leading Augmented Reality Scanner, at-a-glance Component Insights, and fully customizable Calculated Attributes.

Key Highlights of Cormant-CS 13.0 Include:

• AR Scanner – A groundbreaking feature that transforms a mobile device’s camera into an interactive DCIM tool. Users can point their camera at equipment and see live data overlays, including asset details, active alerts, and threshold information, dramatically speeding up tasks like audits and troubleshooting.

• Component Insights – A new, intuitive way to visualize data directly on an asset’s details page. Using configurable graphics like meters and thermometers, Component Insights provides an instant, at-a-glance understanding of key thresholds such as power, temperature, and RU capacity, which are also now reflected in the main dashboard Health Cards.

• Datapoints with Custom Formulas – The Calculated Attributes functionality has been redesigned, moving beyond simple sums to allow administrators to write their own powerful formulas. This feature enables complex calculations using other numeric attributes from a component or its parent, unlocking new potential for custom data analysis and reporting.

• Data Purge and Archiving – A new, rule-based system that gives administrators granular control over database maintenance. Users can now define specific rules to purge old Alert and Asset History data, with options to test the rule and archive the purged data, ensuring a clean and efficient database.

• Report Module Enhancements – Scheduled reports are now more flexible, allowing multiple custom and historical reports to be bundled into a single package.

• Error Logging – The new Application Errors Log centralizes all system errors into a user-friendly, filterable grid, providing administrators with a powerful tool for diagnostics and management

• Scripts and API – Several endpoints in our scripting engine now use a new method for efficiency and simplicity. Also, the old SOAP Web API is now deprecated with several endpoints removed in version 13. Clients are suggested to plan migration to our modern and secure REST API. Ideally, we recommend our clients to inform Cormant Support on their upgrade schedule.

• New EDIS – With Cormant-CS v13, an updated version of External Data Integration Services (EDIS) is also available. The new Cormant-EDIS includes new license key that BGIS will provide.
